I found this Stitchin' Mission Ad on Craigslist (Des Moines) early March that newbies or regular quilters makes quilts and then gives them to teenage mother's for thier babies first quilt. And Ours are going to the Ankeny Women's Shelter in Ankeny, Iowa.

This was my VERY first quilt! I enjoyed my time making this with my mom (Linda Gries) and it was her first quilt also...and our friend Judi Norman's first quilt also.

I will probably do this again it was very fun and I was surprised how it turned out.. I wish I had made two, so I could keep one.. I took lots of pictures though. :)
